For me, it's mostly about aesthetics and execution. I'm not one of those people who just wants a zombie movie with gnarly kills. I love slow cinema! Btw, have you seen In a Violent Nature? Really great horror deconstruction movie from last year. Guess I'm not much of a Boyle fan. I do like the original 28 Days Later, though.
